ContractsCompare is designed to minimize data collection. We do not require accounts, logins, or personal information to use the free tier.
When you upload agreement files for comparison, those files are processed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your documents are never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted over the internet, and never stored anywhere outside your device. The comparison engine runs locally on your computer.
When you click a clause for AI analysis, the text of that specific clause is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. We send only the clause text you click — not your entire document. Anthropic does not use commercial API data to train its models. We are pursuing a Zero Data Retention arrangement with Anthropic for enterprise customers.
When you save a session, the file is saved directly to your device. We do not have access to your saved session files.
Our hosting provider (Railway) maintains standard server logs including IP addresses and request timestamps for security and debugging purposes. These logs are retained for 30 days.
We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking technology.
